The cane doesn't require unscrewing like other lessor canes but is held in place by tight fitting "O" rings that are easily replaced when worn. There is nothing that reveals that it holds a sword hidden inside. There are three rubber O rings on the handle that hold the sword in the cane and prevent it from coming out unintentionally. The blade is nice and long without being too long. Its appearance looks like a regular cane, so you can take it anywhere without looking suspicious.If I were ever in need of the blade, its a sturdy and long blade, I would use as a foil more than a broad sword. Even further, drawing this thing is a pain because the O rings keep a tight seal, which causes air suction while drawing, which requires a hole in the cane tip on the bottom.
