At 6,611 yards from the championship tees, Worsley Park is not the longest tournament course around, but the work of European Golf Design, in conjunction with Michael King, has made it a good test that will be enjoyed by all those who visit. The course was in excellent condition benefitting from recentrain, with the big tricky greens running well, but not too quick. Course in great condition, greens maybe a little slow but true. Meals were not up to normal Marriott standard I think breakfast this was partly due to Covid restrictions.

The greens were great, the food was great, and the practice area was great. Theres a great pub (Worsley Old Hall) next door which can also be accessed from the 11th hole - highly recommended for post round food & a pint. The Worsley Park course will test the most accomplished golfer with its varied shape and contoured greens, challenging bunkers and water hazards. This is a hidden gem nestled in the countryside just outside Manchester and I am very pleased to say its just a few miles from my home. The fairways look In good shape but the recent rain means every ball is hit with some standing water, Off the fairways it's like a farmers field, bring plenty of balls as if you're 1yard offline and not in the fairway it's plugged and near impossible to find, disappointing for the price paid but I guess they can't help the weather. Located on the cusp of Manchester, the Worsley Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club is built around a Victorian building, with the course being regarded as one of the finest inland courses in the North of England.

Join | Despite there having been a lot of rain prior to our playing on the Sunday,the course was in very good condition,off the Yellows,it played long but was a fair test for all our handicaps which ranged from 10-22.The greens were difficult to read and played particulary slow but that didn't deter from a very enjoyable weekend and we will certainly return in the future. as a group of 12 good golfers and not so good golfers we thought it was a good fair course to play.

The onsite 18 hole golf course is challenging for all golfers, the profile of the course was raised considerably by the award of a European Challenge Tour event in 2004, the course has seen several improvements since then. So all in all didnt really get to play as much golf as we wanted so came home Sunday afternoon disappointed. The greens on a number of holes had maintenance work being carried out which made putting difficult but in keeping with the high levels of customer service throughout we were given a free four ball voucher to return. Places of interest include Old Trafford and the Museum of Science and Industry. Staff were relaxed, other golfers unfussy and we had a very enjoyable two rounds. All rights reserved.

The newly rebranded and refurbished restaurant Grill in the Park offers a contemporary dining experience offering the finest regional ingredients. Thoroughly enjoyed it, Enjoyed the course, first round was at our own pace and really enjoyable. Located on the outskirts of Manchester, the venue is perfectly placed to enjoy the sights of this lively city. Pace of play was slow but that was due to slow groups in front of us not courses fault. 48 players had a great time over the 2 days 1st class great for all abilities will come again

Attractive course with some of the most interesting and well kept greens in the North West. Golf Travel Group Limited, Because of the rain we have had lately the course was very wet and boggy especially on Sunday after all the overnight rain we had. Will be back when its dry to have another go though. Tempo is a favourite, popular for its superb breakfasts, and great sandwiches at lunchtime. Select from three on-site dining options including Grill in the Park and The Brew Bar Lounge. Quite open so can open them shoulders on the par 5s. Hotel and staff were great.
Greens had been hollowtined but that's normal, at this time of year, otherwise course in excellent condition. Despite the wind and rain the course was in immaculate condition from tee to green (which were huge), really enjoyable round of golf. Work With Us | Definitely will come back again.
