The details requested potentially affect which options to pursue. Battery level of Tradfri (Fyrtur) Blinds doesn't show up as a separate entity nor attribute on the blinds entities. I have to say I paired the remotes to ZHA only and use an automation in HA to trigger the shades when a button is pressed. I use zigbee2mqtt and it works fine. ### ADDITIONAL CONTEXT Thanks! I havent tried this on the 5-button yet. Before trying to OTA, quick-press both buttons, the light will come on and stay on, no breathing effect or pulsing. The reason youre not seeing them is that its not implemented. You can try another fix by removing line 22 of sensor.py: The battery level will show up in the sensor entity. The battery percentage of my Philips Hue dimmer switch is running down quite rapidly since I paired it with the (Tasmota) ZbBridge. I added a few buttons for fixed positions - they do control all three blinds. This seems to not be all solved. I am moving over to HA and would like to have the same functionality. Sot sure but I might have found something. There has never been a no-response. Not sure about that My Fyrtur Blinds continue to work with ST But the battery life on these are impacted too. The USB-gateways you mention are unrelated. However it's not displayed as the "Battery" level, just as the state of the entities. So I just have an automation that lowers/raises 4 blinds on a button press trigger. This does not seem to appear for me and it broke some stuff of the official integration.. This is based on me observing the battery level on the remote going up after charging the blind battery. We havent been able to fix this but there is a workaround that @hwikene is using. I charged one of my blinds for an hour and it did not change the battery level on the remote (remained at 87%) so it looks like I'm wrong. tradfri.zip, Ahh awesome! Closure level is controlled by quick-double-press on any of the buttons when at the desired level. _(Not always this light)_ I now have some new sensor options available. And actually they do have the same battery issues as well. So far I have bound the shades to their remote (certainly not the one they were originally paired with, I had reset them many many times and never had them marked so this doesnt matter), Philips Hue Dimmer Remotes to IKEA bulbs (this combo allows for more brightness levels and a lower minimum than via the next remote, NO CT adjustment), the IKEA round dimmer remote to 2 TRADFRI bulbs (for this one, adjusting CT worked only on one of the bulbs, the second one never changed, while level adjustment worked on both), IKEA Symfonisk Sound Controller to 2 TRADFRI LED drivers + 1 TRADFRI bulb, and so far this last one has been the least responsive and reliable. This will overwrite the position matching 100% closed on the blind and will report correctly in Lovelace / elsewhere. I'll re-add the integration and have another look, might fix it. Also upgraded to 0.109.6 and battery status still does not appear on the blind devices themselves. So I removed the magnet (sits clamped in and some adhesive on the back but removes easily with a flat screwdriver) on two buttons on opposite side of my house. I have manged to keep two ikea buttons alive on a HUBZB stick and ZHA for about 3 months but only if I removed all of the IKEA repeaters from my house. and can not be switched off/on via Phoscon (or HASS). Most blind remote buttons are close enough to the DECONZ stick. Yup the battery drain problem remains you can only use the buttons if you have NO OTHER powered zigbee devices in your house. One known issue seems to be that if the IKEA hub goes down for any reason, power, network, ect, the HA integration must be restarted to establish a connection. Get the battery indicator working correctly. Ive had the back off mine this whole time and the problem remains. @ctfeet : I just tested this using the Ikea app and HA and it works as expected with the Tradfri integration. I can also go into the device and manually open, close or set to any position I want.
