From tee to green you won't find a better course on the Island. The only bad thing is that it doesn't have much elevation changes which make some of the holes not very spectacular. Avoid course unless you want to get mocked and then dismissed. Cordova Bay is a great place to play for all levels of golfer.

Brooks Cruise ship landed at 0700. Cordova Bay has many other solid golf holes including the 420-yard, par four 10th and the 190-yard par three 11th. The course condition was great as it is normally. It's been almost a decade since I played Cordova Bay, but I remember the day well because it was an adventure-filled one.

The Cordova Golf Course driving range features both grass tees and mat hitting surfaces, as well as a separate instruction area for lessons. The caption above is certainly true, as the parkland style course opens itself up to golfers with our varying vistas but very limited change in elevation. This is a tribute to an extraordinary man but also to a very walkable and playable course at any time of the year.

Cordova was the last of 3 courses we played on a recent mini golf trip. Throughout the year Uplands gives back to the community in many different ways.
Its flatter ground doesn't compare to the wow factor of the topsy-turvy courses at Bear Mountain Resort nearby, but you probably won't be disappointed spending your money there. Once my father and I finished playing, we headed quickly to his car to load up so he could catch the ferry back to the mainland. The property has a nice practice facility but the chipping area is a bit out of the way across the road by their par 3 course.

Generally in fantastic all-year-round shape, Cordova Bay is renowned for its extremely large greens, so expect your short game to be tested as you are sure to face a variety of putts, some from great lengths. The course offers enough challenge for the low handicapper and is eminently playable for the high handicapper. The course is normally in playable condition year round as the drainage is good. Just make your shot.

The staff are always friendly too. It's not worth the views when the staff ruins the experience. Opened in June 1999, the Ridge Course, like her big sister, the Bay Course across the street, was designed by well known golf course architect, Bill Robinson.

Bay at Cordova Bay Golf Course was the first certified Audubon Sanctuary on Vancouver Island. In addition to the 18-hole golf course, Cordova Bay also boasts a par-3, nine-hole course and extensive practice facilities including a 21-bay driving range and a short game practice area with practice bunkers and pitching and putting greens. We later discovered some sort of electrical short caused all the problems.Oh by the way, the golf course caused a few problems, too, during the round.

A worker in the pro shop helped us pull the proper fuse to shut the noise down, saving a lot of golfers a lot of headaches. There are also a number of lakes and meandering streams that come into play throughout. 2022 Uplands Golf Club. The greens are amazing, it's very difficult the find a imperfection. The Brickyard Golf Club is the most underrated private course in Middle Georgia. The holes are relatively open from the tee with a few trees lining some fairways. We managed to get the car started, but it died on the ferry, only to revive again and nearly die again in the customs line at the U.S.-Canadian border. Won't need more than a 9 iron, wedge and a putter but will give most golfers a good test. However, the trees, fairway bunkers and water hazards provide enough resistance to stop you from just gripping and ripping without consequence. Good pacing and nice variety with a few challenges that sneak up on you if you're not looking for them! Fast, true greens with plenty of bunkers and water to challenge your accuracy.
Has some nice challenging holes for a par 3. Greens are similar in size to the full size course below and often running faster.

I always enjoy playing this course, the fairways are evenly watered and could be compared to the greens of some of the other, not as great courses in the area. The versatile layout is friendly enough for beginners but still challenges more advanced players. Both holes require precise shot making, as a number of hazards are very much in play. A couple design flaws hurt it overall appeal but for the most part this is one of the better plays in Victoria.Always a good time to play don't pass this up.
Great dining options after your round. The fact that we were so easily dismissed is indicative it'll most likely happen again, as clearly they don't hold their staff accountable when mocking their golfers . Pro shop staff are helpful and friendly. If only I could play it better.

The toughest hole is the 230-yard par three 6th with its elevated and well-bunkered green placing a premium on distance control for the tee shot. A great design where the challnge remains high despite wide fairways and big greens. Fully recomend it. Exceeded my expectations. I don't recall too many stand-out holes.
