Ive been struggling to find Jeans that fit lately. Not necessarily because my body has changed, but the styles have changed and some of them just look peculiar on me.
I finally got to a Madewell to size myself. I also have a 12 difference in my waist and hip measurement, so the curve style fit like a glove.

I have similar hip & waist measurements as you but also large quads and I just cant get onboard the 90s fashion straight leg look coming back (I feel like they just make my legs look huge).

And I totally agree with your comments on the colour and fabric they look and feel like a worn in pair of vintage jeans, but that 1% stretch helps so much with fit.
