(Original) Conveniently located on a main street and just few minutes walk from Wengen station. The wine, food and atmosphere was everything we could have wanted. Really nice cosy bar that is easy to miss from the main street unless you know about it or are staying in the hotel.
wengen wengener Owner was quite rude and most unwelcoming. What a gem! It's nothing exceptional but I leave a 5 star because this restaurant deserves more than the current 2.5 stars (it should be like 4). Their collections of gins, cocktails and beers on offer mean theres something for absolutely everyone.

Totally worth it! If you want to treat your taste-buds to delicious drinks, then this is bar for you. As well as a full menu in the restaurant it operates a snow bar and offers grilled snacks on the terrace. Beautiful setting at the end of a ski run, excellent staff, delicious food and even an accordion player that had obviously mastered his craft.
The bar of one of Wengens original hotels, theFalken, built in 1895 and still run by the same family, is like stepping back into a piece of history. First rule of a service business is be polite to customers and don't lecture them.
The establishment boasts friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms and a price tag that won't break the bank. Il Canto was affordable, tasty and the waiter was so friendly and accommodating. .
